Robert Butler

Rob is an experienced Manipulative Physiotherapist with 29 years experience in Private practice and elite levels sports.

Having previously worked as Head of Medicine at London Scottish RFC as well as Guildford Rugby Club where he was Chief Medical Officer for over ten years. He enjoys treating complex cases and high level athletes. He was an NHS clinical specialist in the lower limb problems, before becoming a consultant in complex orthopaedic cases.

Rob Qualified as a Physiotherapist from Kings College London in 1995 with a BSc (Hons), before furthering his education with a masters level MMACP qualification in Manipulative Physiotherapy from Brighton University in 2004. Consequently Rob enjoys treating using manual therapy techniques whilst providing rehabilitative exercises to help promote maximum gains for his patients. Rob is also qualified in the use of acupuncture and often finds this a useful adjunct in many cases.

In his spare time Rob is a father to three young adults and is a new skier, old Triathlete and poor golfer. He enjoys keeping fit and active, regularly attending the gym, road cycling and playing squash weekly. When he isn’t active he is invariably to be found enjoying a social beer with friends.

Monday from midday till 5:30pm and Wednesday from 8:30 until 5:30pm
