How being female affects being a physio and business owner. International Women’s Day Special

Discrimination based on my gender does affect my role as physiotherapist and business owner. However, experience has shown me that being a woman has had huge benefits to my practice as a physio and my business, including (in the words of one orthopaedic consultant) ‘buggering off and having children.’ 

I look forward to hearing your experiences, good or bad, about being a woman in our profession. Or from your perspective as a patient.
