Alexa is highly experienced in sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and Pilates. Her extensive post-graduate qualifications, including a Master’s in Sports rehabilitation, have led her from Milan to Pisa and London. These qualifications reflect her motivation to combine different techniques to help her patients achieve their goals in the best way possible.
Since moving to London, she quickly developed a solid reputation for clinical excellence with Sports Consultants and Orthopaedic Surgeons around the City. She continues to enjoy developing these relationships to provide the absolute best outcomes for patients.
Alexa has worked with professional first league volleyball players in Monza (Italy), both with men’s and women’s teams, both as a physiotherapist and massage therapist.
Alexa is an expert in combining exercise prescription and hands-on treatment to restore movement and improve patient’s skills and confidence. Her experience in sports massage provides her the techniques for rapid pain relief and incorporating Pilates to her expertise programmes enables long-term healing patients through correct and pain free movement.
Alexa also has a passion for the growing field of Women’s Health physiotherapy, covering different conditions, from pregnancy to menopause.
Alexa has always been a sports addict. She played 15 years of volleyball in Italy and used to compete in artistic swimming. This helped her understand the commitment and strength needed to achieve in sport and helped her choose a career in physiotherapy.
