Video: What is good pain and what is bad pain? What pain can you run through? What pain should you get checked out? By Lucy Macdonald, Your Marathon Physio

To train or not to train that is the question

We all know that training for a marathon or any kind of event where you are pushing yourself beyond your normal limits is not a comfortable one. So how do you know when the pain should be celebrated and when it should be considered a warning sign.

In this video Lucy Macdonald, who has twenty years experience treating marathon runners, explains how you can tell if you are overdoing it or getting it just right, when you can ignore pain and train through it and when you need to get it checked out.

You can get in touch by email lucy@octopusclinic.com and don’t forget to follow us @OctopusClinic on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
